Tynetec XT1 and XT2 Parking and Unparking modules
The Tynetec warden call systems provide a function to "park" a module. This means that should there be a fault, or a recurring activation that is not wanted, the module can effectively be disabled until such time that the fault can be repaired.
When a module is parked, this means it will be completely unresponsive to any button presses, as well as any inputs to that particular module such as pull cords, detectors and pendants.
Parking a Module
If you have a need to park a module, follow these steps
Step 1
Pick up your handset and wait for the "Ready" prompt
Step 2
dial the module number, followed by the star button. you will then hear a two tone noise to acknowledge you have called the module
Your module number is normally the flat number, or if its a communal module, you should have a list of the communal module IDs
Step 3
Press the 5 key. You will now hear "parked"
The unit is now parked and will not function until it is unparked.
Unparking a Module
Step 1
Pick up your handset and wait for the "Ready" prompt
Step 2
dial the module number, followed by the star button. you will then hear a two tone noise to acknowledge you have called the module.
Step 3
Press the # button. The call will now be ended and the module is now unparked
Any parked modules will be automatically unparked in the event of a complete system reset. If you have modules parked for a reason and you reset the system, you will need to park these again.
